We have travelled to many coffee plantations and met with numerous producers, so we know how important it is to have a fair-trade approach in this industry. Coffee is listed on the stock exchange, so its prices can vary greatly, sometimes dropping so much that producers end up abandoning their crops. With fair trade, producers are guaranteed a limit for their minimum prices.
That’s why, for some years now, we have maintained a very strong partnership with the Honduran cooperative, Coagriscal, within the context of our Fair For Life label.
In keeping with our commitment to ongoing progress, we are currently building new fair-trade production chains, which you can find out more about a little bit further down this page.
