FINE-PLUCKING OUR ORGANIC TEA LEAVES

First, the tea plant offers us its organic leaves and we then invite you to brew an elixir from them. The first two young leaves accompanied by the bud guarantee the best quality for your brew, which is why Destination selects exclusively organic tea leaves harvested using the fine plucking method.

This gentle hand-harvesting style ensures that the tea leaf is less fragile during the various stages of processing. Low in fibre, the little leaf produces a delicate brew that’s rich in flavour.

When picked using this gentle hand-harvesting method, the tea leaf is incredibly tender and therefore less fragile during the various stages of processing, ready to offer the highest-possible concentration of polyphenols and antioxidants. Low in fibre, the little leaf produces a delicate brew that’s rich in flavour.

DISCOVER 3 GRAND ORIGINS OF TEA

THE TEAS OF CHINA

China, the cradle of tea, never ceases to amaze with the vast aromatic palette offered by its plethora of teas. Its ancient tradition has evolved through three great historical periods, which are still apparent today in all forms of tea, whether in loose leaves or tea cakes.

THE TEAS OF JAPAN

Kingdom of the Tea Ceremony, Japan shares with us its quest for aestheticism. The country offers numerous varieties of organic loose-leaf teas, particularly among its subtle and refined green teas, which are renowned for their delicate aromas.

The Japanese Tea Ceremony represents the practice of receiving guests in the greatest humility and transmitting wisdom within a lovingly offered cup of tea. This intimate encounter occurs in an atmosphere of tranquillity. At the heart of this special moment, the tea releases its richness of taste and emotion. Consuming tea as tradition dictates thus becomes a mark of respect and special attention.

THE TEAS OF SOUTH KOREA

The people of South Korea have been keeping their tea habits to themselves for over twelve centuries. Located between the two tea-producing giants, China and Japan, South Korea produces a small amount of tea leaves that are rarely exported.
